In the mid-2000s, a German-born programmer with a passion for snowboarding was faced with a problem: he wanted to sell snowboards online, but there wasn't any e-commerce software that met his needs. From Snowboards to Shopify

Lütke wasn’t originally a businessman. Growing up in Koblenz, Germany, he was more focused on coding and his love for technology.
